Substance Abuse and AIDS (HIV infection) are the two biggest threats to the existence of humankind. I am extremely pleased to know that the Drug Abuse Information Rehabilitation and Research Centre(DAIRRC) is organising an International Seminar titled ”Hope 2000”, which would come out with new concepts/approaches to tackle this burgeoning problem and bring new hopes to the suffering millions.
I hope and believe that DAIRRC would organise many more such programmes to create awareness among public and opinion makers.
